Meet the music faculty at Trottier Middle School

Leigh Rogers

Miss Rogers currently teaches sixth grade instrumental lessons at Trottier, third grade recorder classes at Woodward, and fourth and fifth grade general music and chorus at Neary.  She holds both Bachelor and Masters of Music degrees from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities in Southborough, Miss Rogers is the Chair-Elect for the Central District of the Massachusetts Music Educators, and Past-President of the society for General Music in Massachusetts.  She also performs with the Metropolitan Wind Symphony.

Carolyn Alzapiedi

Mrs. Alzapiedi currently teaches chorus, classroom music and drama at Trottier Middle School.  She has been teaching music in Southborough schools since 1997.  She holds a Bachelor of Music degree, summa cum laude, from Anna Maria College.

In addition to teaching, she has been the musical director for the spring musical at Trottier for many years.  She was also once an active member of the Southborough Players, serviing both on the board of directors and music directing several productions.  For the past few summers she has been the musical director for the Hudson Arts Alliance Theater Too! Program.  When she is not at school she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters.

Jamison Clark

Jamison Clark has been teaching at Trottier Middle School for the past eight years.  Mr. Clark directs the concert bands, orchestra and jazz bands at Trottier.

Before teaching in Southborough, Mr. Clark traveled throughout the United States and beyond, performing and providing master classes and clinics in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.  In 2008, Mr. Clark conducted the inaugural concert for the Massachusetts Music Educators Association Eastern Junior District Festival Concert Band.  In 2009, he conducted the Massachusetts Educators Association Western Junior District Festival Concert Band.  He also conducts the Interboro Band, a community band and the Sudbury Valley New Horizons Band, a band for adult beginners in Wayland, MA.  In addition to teaching, Mr. Clark continues to perform with groups throughout New England.
